Uplifting Read

I love to read and get lost in the pages of a book. I can transport myself into the character and lose track of time easily. While I read many genres, I try to rotate to touch on personal development, business, spiritual, history, and fun.

For Christmas, I was gifted the book, “God Wink Christmas Stories” and I was anxious to read it having read a different God Wink book previously. This one did not disappoint. It was a short read for me at 272 pages and once I started, I found it hard to put it down.

SQuire and his wife Louise wrote this book together. It is 30 inspirational stories of how “coincidences” or God Winks impact people’s lives. They include stories of their own God Wink moments.

From some simple stories of finding items that remind of lost loved ones to miraculous healings, this book feels you with so much warmth. There are needle in a haystack moments and even a well known celebrity or two show up in this book. I don’t want to give anything away, but it makes me want to look for my own God Wink moments.

While many of the stories include people of faith, not all are believers. If you are missing a loved one or just need a little inspiration, I recommend this book. You could treat it like a devotional as well and read a story each day for a month. The Bible verses that go along with each story are on point in further delivering the message.

Have you ever had a God Wink moment in your life? I’m sure you have, but have you recognized it?

Mark 11:24  (NLT)

24 I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours.
